An exciting two-week Festival for people aged 50+.
The two weeks will see a packed programme of over 100 events across the city such as the Notorious Women of Brighton History Walks, a Houses of Parliament tour, special Silver Screens at the Duke of York Cinema, Brighton & Hove Buses Bus depot tour, Hollingbury Hillfort Healthwalk and golf taster session, a tour of Preston Circus Fire station, a Southern Water Sewer tour, the return of the very popular Soul Disco Night @ The Hop in Hove. Also confirmed is the “Full of Life Fair “at The Open Market on Sunday 1st October (Older People’s Day) with the triumphant return of Herbie Flowers and the All Stars’ at 1pm. Other musical contributions will be presented by Sing For Better Health, a local choir of volunteers aged 50+, Silver Sounds Senior Samba Band, and the Silver Strings; Brighton’s very own later-starter community string band.
